The course has a communicative and certain level of linguistic focus. During the course, students complete a piece of work with a focus on Swedish grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. Students study and analyse various types of texts and audiovisual material. In oral exercises, students practise their argumentation and other forms of oral interaction. The course includes specialised work in individual oral presentations and the production of different types of texts. There is joint refelction on Swedish culture and society as well as on other cultures and societies that students are familiar with.
