The course comprises five parts that each build on each other. The seminars consist mainly of different exercises working with the characters. Students write the characters by hand and on the computer, and practice reading simple texts that are written with Chinese characters (Hanzi). In addition, students practice using character dictionaries.

General entry requirements (with the exemption of the requirement in Swedish for those with foreign grades) + English 6. Or: English level 2
