The course focuses on fiction storytelling and consists of two modules. The first introduces theory on the structure of narratives, different strategies, and writing processes that can promote the quality of creative writing. In the second module, the theory is applied in the writing of fiction. The course covers the conventions that influence the design of narration and stories in novels, film, and oral traditions. In addition, the course looks at language tools and the analysis of structural, thematic, and stylistic qualities that can strengthen an author‘s writing. In addition, emphasis is placed on the fact that writing is a collaborative process with the give and take of constructive criticism.
