The course includes the study of different theories on language learning which are discussed in the seminars. The course also looks at the development of awareness about what it means to learn a foreign language. The course also covers how the ability to use language can be developed as well as how favourable conditions for learning can be created. The course includes studies of how different types of teaching materials can be used in language teaching and learning.

General entry requirements (with the exemption of the requirement in Swedish for those with foreign grades) + English 6. Or: English level 2
