The course begins with the history of geometry and goes on to cover basic concepts and relationships in triangles and circles, such as congruence, similarity, the Pythagorean theorem and trigonometry in triangles. Furthermore, the course examines postulates, definitions and theorems of Euclidean geometry and in geometric problem-solving. A laboratory experiment using digital resources is conducted. Finally the course covers analytic and non-Euclidean geometry.
