Italian A: Phonetics and Oral Proficiency

The course contains a review of Italian pronunciation and main phonetical features with application in practical pronunciation exercises. The course also enables students to gain a basic knowledge so that they can develop their communicative skills in standard spoken Italian. Current topics in Italian culture, debate and everyday life are discussed from an intercultural perspective. Students are taught to plan and conduct oral presentations.

General entry requirements (with the exemption of the requirement in Swedish for those with foreign grades) + Italian 3 or Italian: Beginners Course II, 15 credits. Or: Italian Further level 1
