The first semester consists of four 7.5 credit courses, all of which have themes relating to the concepts of state, nation, citizenship, democracy and political culture. The historical developments surrounding these concepts, including current challenges, is a common theme in these four courses. The second semester consists of a 15 credit course on methods within social science, with a specific focus on political science, which is followed by a 15 credit master’s degree thesis in political science.

Bachelor’s degree of 180 credits, including at least 90 credits in Political Science, Sociology, International Relations, Human Rights or Peace and Conflict Studies and at least 7.5 credits in Scientific Method within the field of Social Science and English 6/English level 2
