The course aims to give a broad overview of the range of projects and project work. Several methods and strategies to implement a successful project will be discussed. These include how a project can be organized, the mapping of key processes in the project and how the project is planned. Also addressed is the importance of setting appropriate targets and how these can be designed. Monitoring and evaluation are essential components of all projects; in addition emphasis is placed on risk assessment and risk management within the framework of the project. The course also addresses factors of statutory and group work, and how these affect project implementation.
