Cyber-attacks increase with every digital connection made around the world. Learn how to protect and defend an organization and gain employable skills to start your cyber career. This educational package covers a broad range of topics essential for a job in technology and cybersecurity, offering a solid grounding in the discipline's technical and practical aspects. This prepares students to protect and defend organizations in an increasingly connected and vulnerable digital landscape. This semester advances into more complex areas such as cyber threat management, incident response, penetration testing, and ethical hacking. Students will engage with cybersecurity essentials, threat management, standards for incident response, ethical hacking techniques, and developing compelling reports and incident response project management. The package follows the Junior Cybersecurity Analyst Path and aims to equip students with the competencies required for a career in cybersecurity. The course package Cyber Security Analyst II 30 credits contains the following courses: - Cyber Threat Management and Incident Response 15 credits - Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking 15 credits

Behörighet

The courses IT Essentials 7.5 credits, Networking Basics 7.5 credits, Network Support and Security 7.5 credits, Python 7.5 credits. English 6 or English level 2. Exemption of the requirement in Swedish is granted for those with foreign grades.
