<p>The course provides philosophical tools for understanding and assessing research literature in the areas of applied ethics and philosophy of science. The course readings include a recently published book in either philosophy of science or applied ethics. The issues covered in the book will be addressed with regard to policy and from a theoretical point of view.</p>
