<p>Is it ethically acceptable to use animals for food and medical experiments? To what extent is it defensible to genetically modify plants? How should we mitigate climate change? What is sustainable development? Do we have a moral responsibility to preserve ecosystems? In this course issues like these are discussed. We study a great variety of theories and cases.</p>
