<p>In a world facing increasing environmental challenges and the need to reshape society to preserve our planet, sustainable resource management is crucial for our future. In this course, you will explore how resource management, the environment, and societal development are connected in search of strategies and solutions that can address the most pressing global challenges.</p><h3>Various dimensions of resource management </h3><p>Throughout the course, you will actively investigate and discuss key issues related to sustainable resource management and society's transition towards a more sustainable future. You will examine the links and trade-offs between different aspects of resource management and analyze the political dimensions and fairness aspects affecting this field.</p><p>You will also learn to utilize tools for assessing various resource management methods and practice conveying your knowledge both verbally and in writing.</p><h3>For those interested in sustainable transformation </h3><p>The course welcomes individuals from diverse educational backgrounds who share an interest in sustainable resource management and societal transformation. The course is particularly suitable for those who wish to engage in discussions and practical solutions regarding sustainability issues and resource management, at an advanced level.</p><h3>Varied learning approaches</h3><p>The course will include hands-on experiences and also interactions with experts who are actively engaged in addressing key sustainability challenges.</p><p>The course will be entirely in English and will involve a mix of lectures, seminars, study visits, group projects, and individual written assignments. Furthermore, you will be encouraged to engage in self-study to deepen your understanding and application of the subject.</p><p>Welcome to a course that explores sustainability, climate, environment, transformation, governance, society, planning, and the challenges of the future.</p>
150 credits of which 90 credits with progressive deepening within one main field of study. 15 credits within Environmental Science, Sustainable Development or the equivalent.
