Through this course, the student will develop the skills and knowledge critical to the successful planning of efficient and effective facilities. In particular, the students will be able: to gain an understanding and appreciation of the principles and methodologies relevant to the planning and design of "production oriented" facilities well as the service industries, to develop skills and learn modern analytical techniques useful for solving facilities planning problems.
