This course gives an introduction to statistics and probability useful for students in marketing and business administration. Focus is set on computer aided data processing using SPSS. The course differ from standard introductory level statistics courses in that focus is set computation and presentation of data while mathematical calculations are given less emphasis. Particular focus is set on descriptive statistics. The examination comprises a number of home assignments to be handed in within a certain deadline and a final, written exam. Presentation and analytical assessment of data in a customer perspective are given high emphasis in the course.
