This course offers students a comprehensive understanding of wood's structure and how it affects its physical, mechanical and thermal properties of wood. Students will explore how various factors influence these properties and how they impact wood's suitability for different applications. The course also covers test methods for assessing the mechanical properties of wood using standards. Additionally, students will develop the skills to work independently, critically analyze wood properties, and write scientific reports on related topics.
