Kursens mål är att ge kunskaper för att kunna tillämpa akupunkturbehandling och bedöma indikationer och kontraindikationer för akupunkturbehandling utifrån en patients/klients hälsotillstånd samt vetenskapligt stöd för detta.
Behörighet
In order to meet the general entry requirements for first cycle studies you must have successfully completed upper secondary education and have documented skills in English language. Exemption for Swedish A and B / Swedish 1-3. and knowledge of the scientific foundations of physiotherapy and its methods, the implementation of physiotherapeutic measures with respect to examination and treatment, considering relevant scientific and social aspects, equivalent 60 Credits in the subject physiotherapy. Knowledge of basic anatomic concepts and musculoskeletal anatomy as well as pain physiology.
