<p>Do you want to meet performing artists and theatres in different countries, be inspired by contemporary international performing arts and performance, and gain an understanding of aesthetic trends and the varying conditions of creation? Then apply for this online course that provides information about different practitioners in the field!</p><p>During the course, we make several live-filmed visits to performing arts organizations in different countries where we focus on European performing arts and performance practitioners. The performing artists present and discuss their creations and the cultural and political context in which they work. (Here the language is usually English.) The students take part in filmed performing arts works. Through group discussions, reading and written reflection, comparisons and analyses are made. The students' references to contemporary performing arts and performance are broadened and the ability to reflect on these areas is deepened.</p>
