<p>How can ancient manuscripts be made accessible to modern readers - digitally? In this course, you learn how scholars transcribe, edit, and present historical texts using digital tools. </p>This course introduces digital methods for working with historical texts, especially those found in manuscripts. You learn how texts are transcribed, edited, and digitally presented. You also explore different types of projects where researchers, libraries, and archives collaborate to make premodern texts available to both scholars and the public. <br/><br/>The course is offered online and is an international collaboration between researchers in Sweden, Italy, Germany, and Belgium.
