<p>Do you want to understand the link between energy, the environment and sustainability? This course gives you the tools to analyse energy systems and evaluate strategies for a sustainable future - with a critical and scientific perspective.</p><p>Energy systems affect both the environment and the availability of natural resources. This course gives you a deeper understanding of the complex relationships between energy use, resource consumption and large-scale environmental problems.</p><p>You will learn to analyse different strategies for sustainable energy supply and to evaluate them from several perspectives - technical, economic, energy security and environmental. A critical approach is central, and the course builds on your previous knowledge by relating it to sustainability issues.</p><p>The course can be taken as a stand-alone course and is suitable for those interested in energy, the environment and solutions for a sustainable future.</p>
