<p>A degree project on a chosen topic to deepen your geological knowledge and competence is compulsory and normally concludes a geology education. This degree project is for those who want a Master of Science degree in geology. The work aims to solve a task independently within the prescribed time and present it in the form of a written thesis in the department's publication series for degree projects. The work can be part of a research project or have a directly applied research question. It will also be presented orally and defended at a seminar. The choice of topic is made in consultation with the supervisor. </p> <p>This thesis course is for 60 credits and is done during a full academic year.</p><p>https://www.geology.lu.se/education/programme-structure/geor02</p>

Behörighet

For admission to the course the following courses (or equivalent) are required: General entry requirements, 210 ECTS credits, of which at least 30 ECTS credits must be second-cycle courses in geology (normally GEOM20 and one of the courses GEOM11, GEOM12, GEOM09, GEON09, GEOM22, GEOP07) or an equivalent discipline and English B/English 6.
