In this course, you will learn how researchers use models to understand how emissions affect air quality and climate. You will receive an initial introduction to how such models work and what they can be used for.

The course is an elective course at the advanced level in physics and environmental science. You will learn how models are used to describe the dispersion of gases and particles in the atmosphere and how emissions affect the climate and air quality. The course covers areas such as boundary layer meteorology, gas phase chemistry, aerosol dynamics and how to estimate the socio-economic effects of emissions. Teaching is conducted in English.

Admission to the course requires knowledge equivalent to 90 credits in natural sciences, including knowledge equivalent to FYSB24, Physics: Atomic and Molecular Physics, 7.5 credits. General entry requirements and English 6/B.
Varje tillfälle har egna datum och villkor. Avslutade tillfällen behålls som historik och innebär inte att en ny ansökan är öppen.
