<p>The course is aimed at violinists at university level as well as professionals who wish to broaden their perspective and explore the tonal world and repertoire of the viola.</p><p>The course is aimed at violinists at university level as well as professionals who wish to broaden their perspective and explore the tonal world and repertoire of the viola.<br /><br /> The course covers basic principles of tone production and bowing techniques to highlight similarities and differences compared to the violin. Other course elements include reading music in alto clef, basic knowledge of solo and chamber music repertoire, and a review of individually tailored repertoire. The teaching is conducted both individually and in groups. Malmö Academy of Music has a limited amount of instruments to borrow for the course.</p> <p>Course coordinator: prof.
