Comparative Literature BA (A), Literature and Crisis: Intercultural Challenges in a Global Context

The course is a non-progression course. The course can be included in a degree, but it does not give access to further courses in progression level in the subject comparative literature. In this course we highlight crisis as a theme in literature from different micro- and macro-perspectives and analyse language-related, as well as aesthetic, philosophical, social and ethical aspects of crisis-related literature. The purpose is to discuss how crises are represented in literature, but we will also discuss crises as intercultural challenges in a global context and position different scientific discourses on crises in relation to each other, so as to understand the crisis theme as, equally, process, challenge and possibility.

Behörighet

Grundläggande behörighet (med undantag från kravet på svenska för dig med utländska betyg) + Engelska 6. Eller: Engelska nivå 2.
