This course gives you the chance to contribute to the field of mathematics through an independent project at an advanced level. You select a research problem, apply scientific methods, and conduct a study that may be theoretical and/or experimental. The course allows you to develop your analytical skills, academic writing, and ability to present and defend results – skills that are central for a career in research, education, or industry.
