The course deals with central concepts and dynamical phenomena in physical oceanography. The content is e.g.: - wind-driven ocean circulation, - thermohaline circulations, - oceanic wave phenomena, - oceanic hydrography, - oceanographic processes in the Baltic Sea and other marginal seas.
Behörighet
Knowledge corresponding to Atmospheric Physics and Chemistry, 30 hp (MO4000), or Meteorology I, 15 HECs (MO8001) and Meteorology II, 7.5 HEC's (MO8002). Also required is knowledge equivalent to English B/6.
