The course covers large scale structures (folds, shear zones, faults), microstructures, deformation mechanisms, kinematic indicators, tectonics, rock mechanics and the measurement and interpretation of structural data.
Behörighet
Access to the course requires knowledge corresponding to the courses Geological sciences, 15 credits (GG2010) and Mineralogy and petrology, 7.5 credits (GG4045), alternatively the courses Tellus I - Geology, 15 credits (GG2008), Tellus II - Geology, 12.5 credits (GG4039), Tellus III - Geology, 2.5 credits (GG4042), Mineralogy, 7.5 credits (GG4146) and Metamorphic petrology, 7.5 credits (GG4143).
