The course deals with 3D-visualization of terrain using different elevation data sources, as well as how to represent the built environment in 3D; in the latter case, CAD constitutes an element. Relevant analysis techniques, such as visibility analysis to evaluate the effects of existing and planned buildings, are also covered in the course.
Behörighet
Univ: 120 ECTS, 60 ECTS of which in a major field of subject, including 15 ECTS in Geographical Information Systems (GIS). Proficiency in English equivalent to Swedish upper secondary course English 6/level 2
