An independent scientific project will be carried out throughout the course.The project may be experimental;a clinical or an epidemiological study;case study;statistical meta-analysis.The project must to a significant degree involve a deeper understanding of the discipline of medicine,ie a progression of medical knowledge.The course consists of:Planning of project;Project implementation;Oral project presentation;Written report.The project is connected to a research group,not a student group.

A pass on the Introductory Course, Cell Structure and Function, Organ System Structure and Function, Attack and Defence Pathology, Symptoms and Diagnostics, Clinical Propaedeutics, Clinical Medicine 1, Clinical Medicine 2, Clinical Medicine 3, and the module Clinical Practice from Clinical Medicine 4 or equivalent knowledge.
