The course is suitable as one of the first mathematics courses you take at university, and is part of the first semester of the Mathematics program. You will learn about the basics of mathematics: logic, set theory, functions and relations, number theory, the structure of the number system. This is something you will benefit from in all future mathematics courses.

General entrance requirements for university studies and the Swedish upper secondary courses Mathematics 4 or Mathematics E or Mathematics Further level 2.
