French: Poetics of the Ego - Autofiction in French Literature

<p>The course covers theories, aspects and concepts that are current in relation to literary descriptions of the self in the literature. The focus is on autofiction, but also related concepts and text types such as autobiography, autobiographical short stories and autofabulation are treated and problematised. A selection of French literary texts is studied by means of theoretical models currently relevant to the field and French concepts. The course also applies a historical perspective on the current field.</p>
