The course covers some of the central educational theories and how these highlight and enable the understanding of systems, practices and educational documents. The main focus is on systems at the level of society, institutions and the individual and how these systems themselves interrelate. How social patterns in society and educational processes are formed is also discussed. The course is divided into two main areas: Teaching, Nurturing and Learning Education and Society
