The course covers textual structure, style, clarity, correct language use, referencing conventions and anti-plagiarism, among other things. The examinations are comprised of a number of assignments which are carried out throughout the course. These assignments consist of both oral seminar assignments and written assignments which lead to a final assignment where the student is to complete an academic essay. General entry requirements (with exception of the requirement of Swedish). Further requirements: English 6 (or the equivalent). The level of English proficiency is normally shown by an internationally recognized language test, e.g. IELTS or TOEFL.
