<p>The study programme in nursing is a three-year study programme and it provides the students with knowledge and skills required for independent work as a nurse in general health care, for this work the students need knowledge in general and specific nursing and they will also work with health promotion and prevention work. The study programme in nursing gives you knowledge in nursing, biomedicine, publich health studies and clinical studies. Fulfilling the programme entitles the student to Filosofie kandidatexamen med huvudämnet omvårdnad (official translation: Degree of Bachelor of Science with a major in Nursing) and Sjuksköterskeexamen (official translation: Degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing).</p>
