Rapid growth in the electric vehicle market is one of the prerequisites for meeting the global targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving air quality in urban cities.<br> Electric vehicles also meet consumers' needs for a modern comfortable driving experience. The transition to battery-powered vehicles will radically change the automotive industry within a few years. The course is based on the increased need for batteries for electric vehicles. We handle a wide range of battery and vehicle types, ranging from passenger cars to heavy construction vehicles and trucks.<br> You get basic knowledge of different types of batteries. Furthermore, the course analyses the type of battery that is suitable for different types of vehicles and applications.<br> The course ends with a case study in the form of practical risk analysis for battery management. **Industry and academy** This course has been developed in collaboration with industry partners within the framework of one of our educational projects. The project aims to provide courses at the advanced level to a mix of professionals and students to strengthen the Swedish industry's competitiveness.<br> We apply validation of work experience to see if you have knowledge that corresponds to the eligibility requirements for the course.
