In this course you will deepen your understand of different meteorological phenomena that dominate on local to global scales. A detailed review of the current global climate is made in combination with how the climate has varied historically. Specifically, the atmospheric boundary layer, i.e. the atmospheric layer close to the surface, is studied as well as its daily and seasonal variations. This gives a basic understanding of the weather conditions that affect us and our society.
Behörighet
120 credits of which 90 credits in science/engineering including the course Meteorology, Hydrology and Environmental Measurement Techniques, 15 credits. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
