During this course, you will acquire knowledge and skills to assess the sources, fate and effects of environmental contaminants. The course includes theory, project work and a laboratory practical. The projects will give you training in the classification and labelling of chemicals hazardous to the environment and in risk assessment of pharmaceuticals and plant protection products. The laboratory practical is presented in a report written like a short scientific article.
Behörighet
Completed courses of 120 credits including 60 credits in biology and 30 credits in chemistry. Participated in the advanced course Toxicology 15 credits. English 6. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
