<p>In the Master's Programme in Languages, you choose to deepen your knowledge in one or more main areas of the wide domains taught at an advanced level within the Faculty of Languages at Uppsala University: Language, Linguistics, Literature and more. Courses from other faculties can also be included in the degree for further specialisation. Some of the courses are online-based.   During the first year, a work-oriented seminar series along with study visits is organised for students in all the specialisations within the programme. The programme is research preparatory. The language of instruction in the programme's common courses is mainly Swedish.   The programme leads to a Master of Arts (120 credits) with one of the following main fields of study: Finno-Ugric Languages, German, Greek and Byzantinology, Indology, Iranian Languages, Latin, Linguistics, Romance Languages, Semitic Languages, Slavic Languages, and Turkish Languages. </p><p>After one year of study, it may also be possible to obtain a Master of Arts (60 credits) which is qualifying for postgraduate education. </p>

Behörighet

_Academic requirements_ A Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university. The main field of study must be Chinese. _Language requirements_ Proficiency in Swedish and English equivalent to the general entry requirements for first-cycle (Bachelor's level) studies.
