Have you imagined the potential of psychological science? This research-oriented programme guides you to a deeper understanding of how the mind works, including human development, emotion, cognition and mental health. You will be taught by active researchers in the areas of their special expertise, covering research strengths at the department. The programme provides the opportunity to get practical skills in scientific work and to do internships in research groups. They have access to a variety of analytical techniques and psychological measurement methods, including behavioural lab studies, eye-tracking, computational modelling, physiological measurement, and brain imaging. The Department of Psychology with its interdisciplinary networks within Uppsala University provides a uniquely stimulating environment. This programme is ideal for students with a strong interest in Psychological Science. While the focus in the programme is on basic research, special attention is paid to exploring how such basic research in Psychological Science can address current important societal challenges, such as sustainability, mental health, and well-being. Your vision could be an academic career or to be a consultant processing and conveying Psychological Science within organisations or governments or to enable you to forge your own path. Behörighet

_Academic requirements_ A Bachelor's degree, equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen, from an internationally recognised university. Also required is 90 credits in psychology with at least 7,5 credits in methods and statistics. _Language requirements_ Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6. This requirement can be met either by achieving the required score on an internationally recognised test, or by previous upper secondary or university studies in some countries.
