What is the Universe made of? Is it infinite? Is the Universe eternal, or did it have a beginning? Is it part of a vast multiverse? Is the Universe fine-tuned? How can we gain knowledge about such issues, and what are the possible answers? Cosmology seeks to comprehend the origin, evolution, future, and structure of the Universe as a whole. Philosophers, theologians, and physicists have discussed such issues throughout history. Based on the empirical information in contemporary cosmological research, this interdisciplinary course addresses central issues in cosmology from the perspectives of modern physics, philosophy, and the philosophy of religion. With reference to the ongoing debate within and between these fields of research, the course introduces concepts, arguments, and results from all three disciplines. **Outline for distance course:** Lectures and seminars will be given using Zoom. Lectures will be recorded and made accessible. Communication between teachers and students will use the learning management system and tools for e-meetings. Access to a computer with a stable internet connection and a web camera will be required.
