The course focuses on the design of off-grid and hybrid PV systems, which include other types of electricity generators. The course covers the sizing of components and complete off-grid and hybrid solar electricity systems, where sizing and optimisation involve the use of computer tools. The course also covers best practices of PV installations with focus on safety and performance where there is an explanation about the most typical mistakes that can be made in the case of photovoltaic installations. The course ends with the installation of a PV system where best practices are applied.
