Students carry out an independent literary study of a well-defined research topic that is relevant to the field of intercultural literary studies. The study is to be written in English and presented in the form of an independently written thesis of 11 000 to 13 000 words. Students also practice oral presentation and defence of their results and arguments, as well as the analysis of other students’ work.

Entry requirements

Bachelor‘s Degree in Languages or Literary Studies of at least 180 credits. 22,5 credits at Second cycle within the main field of study of Intercultural Literature Studies, including the courses Introduction to Intercultural Literature Studies, 7,5 credits and Intercultural Literature Studies: Academic Writing, 7,5 credits
