Italian A: Text Analysis, a Literary Journey in Central Italy

The course comprises the study and literary analysis of selected literary works that depict life and social conditions in central Italy. Students are introduced to basic literary concepts and taught how to apply them to texts. Based on the literary texts, the course also provides an orientation on author biographies and relevant historical, cultural and literary expressions in the texts studied.

Entry requirements

General entry requirements (with the exemption of the requirement in Swedish for those with foreign grades) + Italian 3 or Italian: Beginners Course II, 15 credits. Or: Italian Further level 1
