Languages, Literature and Culture: Research Methodology and Academic Writing

In the course, students read and analyse various examples of scientific studies in literature, culture and linguistics. Based on these examples, the students carry out a comparative analysis of a research question, theory, method, argumentation and disposition. Each student formulates an idea for a research project within one of the languages, and writes a detailed project description. Furthermore, students write reviews and will in this way practice their ability to discuss the contents of scientific text. Students read and discuss each other‘s texts.

Entry requirements

90 credits at level G1F in one of the main fields of study of Russian or Chinese, or 90 credits in the main field of study of Portuguese
