Under supervision, students carry out an expert and independent scientific study that has its starting point in a formulated question from the field of religious studies. This develops students´ability to contribute to knowledge development within a defined area in the field. Students present their respective study and its results in the form of a thesis. Included in this are a review and evaluation of their own scientific work and that of others, as well as the formulation, presentation and management of constructive criticism in connection with both the work process and the public discussion of their thesis and the theses of other students.

Entry requirements

Degree of Bachelor 180 credits in the main field of study Religious Studies 90 credits and 15 credits in Religious Studies at second cycle, including Science History, Theory and Method in Religious Studies 7.5 credits
