The course covers basic HTML and CSS, such as elements, attributes, nesting, document layout, sectioning, linking, declarations, properties, values and the cascade. In addition, the role of HTML and CSS in web development is described, as well as the general factors that are crucial for websites to be responsive, scalable and optimised. The course also covers CSS techniques for responsive web design and how the rendering process affects our ability to construct websites.
Entry requirements
General entry requirements + Mathematics 2a or 2b or 2c, Social Sciences 1b or 1a1 + 1a2. Or: Mathematics level 2a or level 2b or level 2c, Social Sciences level 1b or level 1a2
