The course covers the process from macro-perspective planning to road plans and construction documentation as well as methods for geometrical and constructive design. National regulations, general advice, and technical descriptions are covered. Different methods and calculation aids for road constructions are presented and used. An important aspect is also to describe how the design of a construction affects accessibility, safety, comfort, and the environment.
