The course aims to develop students’ basic knowledge of Spanish and thereby prepare them for further studies of Spanish at university. The course includes reading, pronunciation and vocabulary, listening comprehension exercises, and oral and written exercises. Basic skills in Spanish grammar are applied in grammatical analyses and contrastive exercises. The course introduces students to certain aspects of culture and society in the Spanish-speaking world.
