Spanish II: Written Language Proficiency and Grammar

The course includes further studies of grammar following Spanish I. Great emphasis is placed on the students‘ awareness of language in terms of correctness and linguistic variation in their own text production. During the course, the students are expected to develop a critically reflective attitude to both the content of the course literature and their own texts. The contrastive analysis of structural differences between Spanish and Swedish is an important feature. The course also includes exercises in oral presentation and defence of different perspectives and points of view in terms of chosen grammatical areas.

22.5 credits within the main field of Spanish, including the course Spanish I: Written Language Proficiency and Grammar, 7,5 credits
