Kursen behandlar omrÄdet idrottsmedicin utifrÄn trÀnarens perspektiv. GrundlÀggande teoretisk och praktisk kunskap om förebyggande, omhÀndertagande och rehabilitering av ett urval av idrottsrelaterade skador behandlas. Ergogena medel belyses, diskuteras och problematiseras utifrÄn olika aspekter. Vidare problematiseras trÀnarens roll i relation till andra professioner inom omrÄdet idrottsmedicin nÀr det gÀller omhÀndertagandet och rehabiliteringen av olika idrottsskador för att möjliggöra ett hÄllbart idrottande med minskad risk för Äterfall i tidigare skada.
