Kursen behandlar olika metoder och centrala begrepp som används för att involvera slutanvändare i design- och utvecklingsprocesser med syfte att tillgodose deras krav, behov och önskemål vid skapande eller vidareutvecklande av digitala produkter och tjänster. Kursens tyngdpunkt ligger vid arbete där användaren placeras i centrum vid utformning av produkt eller tjänst. Detta sker genom undersökningar och praktiskt designarbete.
